[Herky] 2 amazing games - but I have questions

I actually met up with a friend from grad school.  We went to the Final Four together in 1980 and many Iowa games in the 80s and 90s.  Wonderful weekend!

If Iowa had to rebound and go all the way down the court, I don’t see how we could have made a shot there.  Or would we have just called a timeout after the rebound and gotten the ball at midcourt anyway?  But there would have been less than 1.5 seconds, maybe not enough time.

 

I can’t even remember the last time I was in CHA.  It opened the year after I left Iowa City so I haven’t been there many times.  The experience was a lot of fun, and I loved the ESPN College Gameday – the atmosphere was just electric.
