[Herky] Big Ten basketball tiers, post-realignment: How Oregon, Washington stack up to B1G heavyweights

The traditional rivalries are being pushed aside in the pursuit of TV money. The problem is, the regional sports networks are having significant financial problems, with many entrapped in bankruptcy proceedings. Even ESPN is up for sale, as The Mouse cuts back on “non-core” businesses. That includes ABC Television (Disney dumped ABC Radio years ago). 

Sports TV is likely to look very different in the next few years.
