[Herky] 40 Years Ago, Hawkeyes Were Celebrating Final Four Run

Remember it very well myself

One of my best friends from college got married that weekend

She had the reception at her parents house at the time the game was on.  I
drove a carload of girls to the house while listening to the game on the
radio.  We sat in the driveway waiting for a timeout and then just charged
into the house without even saying hello

Fortunately everyone else, except the bride's new sister-in-law who was a
Georgetown grad, was a Hawkeye and watching the game!

Wish I could have gone the game, but I was staff nurse then and never could
get time off. Watched with my patients...
