I wouldn't say Wadley is lying, although there may be misunderstanding in some areas. Corroboration? Too many black players have identified similar problems, as has the investigation, to say there is no corroboration. Arkrum by himself I would have dismissed, as I did DKJ's story. Right now I trust the players over the coaching staff just on volume.

That is almost certain. He got in with a cheezy lawyer and was trying to make some money. Not one player has corroborated his story. His lawyer also sounded like an idiot 

I don't believe it is accurate to say that the program isn't "clean" or lacks integrity. I believe the findings and what the players have said is that there was implicit cultural bias. This isn't the same as cheating. It is unintentionally favoring one cultural style over another without realizing the impact on the individual. The most concerning thing is that the signs have obviously been there for a couple years and little was done about it. I find it encouraging that the vast majority of players who spoke up did it out of love for the program and wanting to help improve it.

So you’re saying Wadley is blatantly lying? 

Or has there been some kind of huge misunderstanding about the use of the meal card and/or a break down in the record keeping to control its use? 

Why did Ferentz have to drop the name of Ben Hensen in his statement? Subtle use of deflection of responsibility? 

I question the integrity of one Kirk Ferentz.

Why would his meal card be shut off when the staff wanted him to GAIN weight the whole time he was there so that he could handle the size of Big Ten defensive football players?

Great question Dennis. Some would say with the announcement by Barta the finger points at KFz as Head Coach. Buck stops here, that sort of thing. But others would say some of the people making accusations are those of “disgruntled” students. Somewhere in the middle is the answer. But again the blame has been pointed at the HC.
