Certainly, Iowa’s offense has been substandard the last couple of years, particularly at the QB position. But Brian was not the QB coach. Last year the O Line was pretty bad the first half of the year. Was that due to coaching, recruiting, injuries or player turnover?<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>I think Brian should be given the confidence to pull it off and not attacked with negative inferences. A QB who understands the offense and who can throw with accuracy can make any QB coach look good. Brian may not have the technical experience to tell a QB how to hold the ball and what angle to release, etc., but who knows.
