Both Peyton Mansell and Spencer Petras look promising, but are they ready to play the game management system Iowa uses? The sad thing is this lack of a backup will probably happen again. I did not see him making solid reads, he looked uncomposed at times, threw uncatchable balls under no real pressure, does not really run when that should be an option, and throws 5 yard passes when 8 yards is needed. If this keeps up, I hate to say it but he will be the primary reason we lose games moving forward.
