Iowa did pretty well in both Cadets and Juniors freestyle. Hopefully some of these young guys will continue to develop and become Hawk stars down the road. For the not too distant future incoming freshman Nelson Brands and Anthony Cassioppi did very well. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:12.0pt;color:black'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:12.0pt;color:black'>Brands wrestled at 160 and finished third. His only loss was to the champion. He is aggressive and fun to watch but has some development to do. Most think Brands will need a couple of years before he will see the line-up.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:12.0pt;color:black'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:12.0pt;color:black'>Cassioppi is a heavyweight and took home the title. He was very impressive. He pinned or teched everyone. He is not very impressive at this point physically but he shows good strength and moves very well.
