I’m not one to lightly call for a coach to be fired, but after 6 years we haven’t seen much progress. <div>It’s been amazing how many times this team has been burnt so easily in half
court and in transition. They don’t communicate well, their reaction times are
on a 1/2 second delay, they get way out of their positioning set ups, they get
beat on dribble-drives to the baseline and paint often, and just look flat-out
confused on occasion. Wasn’t Speraw a coach who, in part, was brought in
because of his defensive expertise? He’s got a lot of work to do, along
with any other assistant who is interested in defense. . </div>

major free falls that could not be explained. This year’s failure cannot
