<DIV>After today’s blowout loss to tOSU, Iowa’s FG shooting percentage for the 

season is 47.8%.  That is the highest team FG pct since Tom Davis’ second 

to last season (97-98), when that team connected on 48.0% of their shots. </DIV>

<DIV>Just imagine if this team played defense!  With their length and 

wingspans, it seems to me they could (should) be more of a defensive-oriented 

team.  Let’s hope Connor McCaffery is a super-defender on the perimeter 

next year and some changes are made to get this team to learn and stress 

defense.  I don’t know anything about the new recruits coming in, but I 

hope there is at least one guy who is a defensive specialist and will quickly 

learn all the techniques and nuances of playing D at the next level.</DIV>
