This afternoon they handled Samford to go 8-1 on the season tied with Minnesota for the Big Ten lead. Their only loss was a one-pointer last week to #13 Florida State in a game full of “could of, should of’s”. Junior Megan Gustafson is a monster at center and is already on the Naismith Trophy watch list. Today was her eighth double-double in nine games. They only start one senior, Chase Coly, who is the only senior on the team. So the future is bright.
