<DIV>I was a huge BB fan most of my life. In the 70’s when I lived in Iowa
City I went to all the home games and some road games. I met many of the
Hawkeyes from the 70’s because my aunt had them over to her house often.
In the 80’s I lived in Michigan and would travel to East Lansing and Ann Arbor
when the Hawks played there. I watched all the games through the 90’s up
into the 2000’s. However during the latter Alford years, and the Lickliter
years I started to lose interest. Now I rarely watch games; if Iowa is on
TV I will turn to the channel to check on the score but I never watch a game all
the way through. I will watch the NCAA tournament, but that’s about
it. I can’t believe how I’ve changed. I used to say “in football
season, that is my favorite sport, but in BB season I like that the best”.
I’m kinda disappointed in myself considering what a huge BB fan I used to
be. I wish I could get back that BB passion again.</DIV>
