I'm pleased that Kirk seems to have embraced more risk-taking this year so that the team is less predicable and more exciting. This year, looking back, seems to be a transition year with new young players at many important positions. I'm disappointed that the offense seems to have hit a wall and that the defense is erratic. Our linebackers get a lot of press but many of their stops are falling backward instead of driving the ball carrier backwards. </div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Kirk is a good coach and really seems to be a good solid person. He gets paid a lot of money but it seems that it is what the market dictates.</div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1511274467621_15392" dir="ltr"><br></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1511274467621_15393" dir="ltr">Really hope that they take care of the Huskers Friday and end the regular season on a positive note. This really hit me when I was down in WI for that game. Through my nephew I talked with some guys who have contact
with present and past coaches. Bielema and Ryan had better success but I would not ever want them to be coaches at Iowa. Character still counts for me.<br clear="none">
