<DIV>I have been wondering for a few weeks if I should<BR>post some personal
info and tonight I decided that<BR>I needed to and because sometimes I think of
Herky<BR>as part of my extended family.<BR> <BR>My wife of 53 years, died
on November 5 after a<BR>difficult struggle with Alzheimer's. We had
a<BR>beautiful service for her on November 15. My<BR>"kids" (2 Iowa grads
and one Minnesota grad)<BR>have been a great help to me.<BR> <BR>Even
though Sharry grew up in Minnesota, she<BR>always had room in her heart for
loving all things<BR>related to Iowa.<BR> <BR>None of you probably ever met
her except that<BR>Gwen almost did a couple of years ago in a cold<BR>and windy
parking lot after a Minnesota game.<BR> <BR>Don Elias</DIV>

Obit<BR><BR>Elias, Sharry J. age 78, of Fridley, passed away on Nov. 5,<BR>2016
after a difficult journey with Alzheimer's. Sharry grew<BR>up on a dairy farm
near Houston, MN and later worked<BR>many years at Land O' Lakes. She was
devoted to her<BR>family and will always be remembered for her kind
and<BR>gentle nature. Preceded in death by parents, Harold &<BR>Sylvia
Beckman; and infant son, David. Survived by husband of 53 years,<BR>Donovan;
children, Debra (Steve) Elias Morse, Robert (Julie) and
Cynthia;<BR>grandchildren, Sylvia, Chloe, Henry, Oliver & Marius; sisters,
Marilyn<BR>(Allen) Betz and Cathleen (Lee) Battles. Visitation from 5-8 PM on
Thurs.,<BR>Nov 10 at Miller’s on University, 7398 University Ave NE, Fridley.
Funeral<BR>Service 12 PM with visitation one hour prior on Friday, Nov 11 at
Fridley<BR>United Methodist Church, 680 Mississippi St NE, Fridley. Interment
