<p>Thanks for clarifying. I missed the first half kick-off and the announcers made it sound like it was Iowa's choice in the second half. In any case it is a baffling decision by Ferentz.</p>

<div>The issue is that Iowa, to start the game, after winning the toss,rather than choose to receive or defer, Iowa chose the wind. I thought it was a stupid choice. Thus Illinois got 1st choice in the 2nd half. The result was that Illinois gets the ball in
both halves and gets the wind in the fourth quarter. Incredibly poor thought process there. But it looks like we are going to overcome that. 14–0 Iowa!
