<DIV>It seems that every time the opponent scores on a long drive or short drive
(long plays), the Hawks offense has always answered with a score of their own.
And many times their answer comes in the form of a very long drive with a lot of
time coming off the clock. I attribute most of this success to Beathard
and his poise and intelligence. I also give a lot of credit to the
offensive coordinator and staff for the play calling.</DIV>

<DIV>I don’t know if I heard this correctly, but I believe Gary Dolphin said in
his post-game commentary that Iowa has trailed for only 12 plays from scrimmage
in the second half of all games this year. Did I hear that
correctly? If so, it’s a tribute to how Iowa can quickly answer with a
score after they fall behind or are tied.</DIV>
