<p dir="ltr">Rudock was an outstanding example of an authentic student-athlete.  Now he appears to be proving the oft espoused Herky theory:  he shines as a student but is a bit of a plodder as an athlete.</p>
<p dir="ltr">JM, decrying fate that balanced out somehow to make me evolve back in the day merely as a better than average student and so-so college athlete.  </p>
<p dir="ltr">Objective analysis possibly would lead to downgrading me to average --- except in my own mind and dreams😯!</p>
