infantry training after that. It wasn’t as much fun as playing hoops for

difficult to comprehend and explain. It was one of my major life
challenges, but thank goodness I was never sent to a war zone, like about 75% of
my platoon was during the late 60s. My college degree kept me stateside.</DIV>

thing. MCRD is hard to explain, but lets just leave it at, it not near the
same thing.
