Remember Harding is coming in next year and looked really good in the Illinois state tournament. Perkins and Dix can also play the point. That is a lot of bodies for limited minutes. Toussaint transferred last year after Fran told him it would be point guard by committee and I see that happening again next year.

Everyone says Murray is a first round draft pick and is gone. Ulis and Big O are in the portal. Wonder why Ulis is leaving? Does he just want more minutes than he is getting or is the writing on the wall that Bowen or Nummers is the future. 

I agree that what you can tell from a highlight film is limited. However, you can clearly see his athleticism and he has good form on his shot.

Word was last year that Kris was already older than NBA scouts like. If he stays another year he will really be “old”. But I agree another year at Iowa would help the team and maybe him. He appeared to really fall off the last 25% of the season.

Nimmers really looks good in this, but everyone looks good in an edited highlight video. It will be interesting to see if he gets playing time next year. We will see who transfers in and out. If Kris Murray declares for the NBA draft as expected, there will be one open scholarship for a transfer. I would think the priority would be for a big man. Josh Ogundele, Riley Mulvey and incoming freshman Owen Freeman would be the only candidates to play the 5 if Iowa does not get a transfer at that position. There will need to be major improvement from them to avoid a real weakness at that position. Evan Brauns, a 6'9" 240 pound center from mid major Belmond and an Iowa City resident, is rumored to be walking on next year.

Thought this was interesting. I have heard that he was really athletic and it shows here. If I recall correctly, it was his shooting that needed improvement but his from looks pretty good. I am surprised that he could get all this practice film and be able to release it.
