[Herky] Well That Sucked

Folks, I am way beneath the pundits in knowledge, and that is really, really bad, but I just cannot put all the blame on the QB.  I think the wide-outs are slow, the line has not progressed, and play calling is BORING!.  On the one hand, a QB cannot do well if the cast around him is weak.  On the other hand, a standout QB will bring the team along to  higher ground.  

I went through the years of Archie Manning as QB for the ‘Aints.  He was great and held the team sort of together, and although the cast was putrid, his talent stood out.  BTW, I may have to get my bag out and change Aints to Hawks.  😊.  (Can you believe Archie’s grandson is a highly sought after recruit that recently signed with Texas?  Grandson!!)

With all that pontification said, BFz has had enough time to build this offense with recruiting, assistant coaches, training and play calling.  It isn’t working and the buck has an intermediate stop with him.  Big boy Kirk, whom I really like and support, must get family out of the way and make some kind of move.  

In my untrained eye, I have no reason to believe that major improvements are possible.

I don't believe that.  Why not give Padilla a try?  He cannot be worse.  It isn't possible

exactly!  KFz is stubborn and old fashioned.  It felt like he waved a big middle finger at us sending Petras back in the second half.

Lack of supporters in the stands next week will do it. 

Nepotism and unnecessary loyalty has gotten out of hand. Except for the D-coach who has been doing a stellar job over the years, most of the others are out of position or new to put any pressure on poor performance on BFz. 

Loyalty has to be to the paying public and currently it is not, by putting on such putrid shows recently. This is irrespective of last year’s results. 

So, disappointing. 

I never played the game but could tell SP was not good and was not showing improvement over the last three years = tears. 😢😢
