After watching all the games (TV), I think the issue of the O is not SP.  He may not be Heisman material, but he would be fine with an O line.  Last year the line was bad, but supposedly held together at center.  This year there doesn’t seem to be much improvement to this set of eyes.  We just may not have the horses.  That is disappointing for a team with such a rich history of developing the offensive line.

He was unbelievably active all over the field.

 I sincerely hope he does play a few years like you said as I see his stock really rising next year and then going off to the pros 🙂

 

I have been very critical of SP's play but there is one thing that I have to give a huge credit to him for, and that is his personal poise after busted plays.  I never see him flustered or upset with his O-Line.  I am certain a huge majority of other QBs would have thrown a fit or two.  At least he keeps the ball safe and does not throw too many interceptions.

 

Iowa does have a big chance of winning the B10 W.

Four teams are tied for the top with 4-3 records.

We beat the Gophers & Huskers we will be champions.  

I am sure Michigan will beat Illinois and we own the Head-to-Head with Purdue.

Cant believe we are even in this discussion with the O we have.

 

An elite D deserves at least a mediocre O and we do not 🙁
