Does any one (besides me) follow a lot of Hawkeye
things on YouTube? Yesterday I watched the Hawkeyewomen's victory over Kearney Nebraska by the scoreof 116 to 29 - but it was very interesting to watch. Go Hawks!!!!!! Don Elias

I only have one of the lucky earrings left! But it was present along with my lucky socks!  Great game! Great to see Steve and Kim (and enjoy Kim's fantastic chili!)!Go Hawks!

I wondered why that particular kickoff was so bad.  That explained it.

Gwen, must have been those lucky earrings!  Well done everyone.

I hope no one got hit by flying cans, brats, hot dogs, burgers or
whatever while tailgating.  Had to stand up wind I'm guessing.

Rough early start with Charlie Jones getting a 40 yard one so completion but he really wasn’t a factor despite 11 catches & 100 yards. Defense was usually lights out & Petras is starting to win me over (offensive line play improvement is probably a major factor.).

We tailgated with Gwen & her family under crappy weather.  We all agreed that the wind was the strongest we had experienced at a game.  If one stood up in the stands it wasn’t unusual to be blown off balance from a gust (50+ mph was recorded). Made tailgating difficult blowing glasses & cans off flat surfaces.
