This is important because I don't know that Ogundele or Mulvey will be ready for major minutes next year. There are rumors that Josh Ogundele is suffering from long haul COVID which is affecting his ability to improve his conditioning and endurance. Mulvey should have been a high school Senior last year.

But Rebraca is not really the answer at center either because of his size. Iowa had a Zoom call Monday with Fardaws Aimaq, a 6'11" 245 lb. center from Utah Valley, who was both WAC player of the year and WAC defensive player of the year. As the only true big man in the transfer portal who is a developed big rather than a project, competition will be fierce. There is interest from Gonzaga, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois and 50+ others- basically anyone who thinks they will need a center. Aimaq may enter the NBA draft as well.
