[Herky] Transfer portal and bowl game

Kirk made it sound like May and Labas will compete for the starting spot. I would guess that Labas would have the edge. I wonder if they might both play and each concentrates on different parts of the playbook so between the two they have more of it covered.

Kirk seemed to hint that not everyone who declared for the portal in 100% gone. Each person will be dealt with on a case by case basis so it would not surprise me if one of them played. Prime case is Keagan Johnson.  If he is still thinking of staying and healthy enough to play, then letting him play might increase the change he stays.

No.  They are no longer on the team.

The four players who have formally announced for the portal were players who were not utilized the last 2/3 of the past season.

Watching Bruce play, it was visible that he was very frustrated with his involvement in the offense this year.  Very few passes were directed towards him. Another Charlie Jones scenario in the making????
