 Charlie Jones had 97 receptions / 1199 yards for Purdue this year.  
Iowa's leading WR ( Nico R ) had 25 receptions / 362 yards. 
FYI,  Bruce had 19 receptions / 187 yards.
You can not blame players looking for opportunities where there can catch passes.
NIL and the Portal will make it difficult for Iowa to recruit and retain receivers.

I have seen comparisons to Ruddock. From what I have read I would say he is probably Ruddock but with better leadership skills. He is certainly a big boost to the program.  I have read that he is already recruiting WRs.

He was the Michigan QB that smoked us in the Big Ten Championship Game last year. 

He had an injury this year and is still recovering from that. He likely won't be available until after or during Spring Practice.

He reportedly is trying to bring a couple receivers with him.

His coming to Iowa was very much helped by The Swarm NIL Collective.  I'd urge anyone that can to get on board with them and sign up for monthly donations to help the NIL cause.
