Nice article.  I have concluded in my limited football acumen mind that the O line was at top of the list for the problems.  The number of passes to the tight ends tells it all—no time for the QB to set and for the burners to run down the field.  There is no excuse for that, given Iowa’s history of developing O lineman.  The head coach know the answers, be them related to recruiting or coaching or something else.

 

But now the situation is in a spiraling downward descent.  People leave, so why should people come?  Maybe if we can sign a stud lineman or show why the line is in good shape for next year, an/or a stud QB or receiver, then the rest may follow.  Good luck.
