[Herky] Familiar script playing out as Iowa’s running game sputters

This article is spot on.  

 

What Iowa needs is an opponent that has less talent so they can open it up a little and get game experience in the running and passing games.  We all know that in tight games against quality opponents, the coaching staff shuts things down and plays it close to the vest.  Not necessarily a demonstration of ability.  The object is to win.

 

So let’s see what happens in the next two games as, hopefully, this team doesn’t look past them.  Then with some good results under their collective belt, they can go on to reasonable performances against future tough foes.
