Cannot disagree with you but I do have my doubts.
There were a few opportunities in both games where a QB worth his salt should have made a better throw.
Hope the weaker defences in the next couple of matches will help improve the situation for the PSU game.

Don’t be too hard on the QB personally. I have the same initial reasoning, but I have changed my worries to the PASSING GAME in total. It looked to me like we didn’t have an abundance of open receivers all day.

To say nothing of our weakly performing running game. We couldn’t run, and that didn’t help the passing game.

Is it the O line?  There is not much proven performance there save for center.
Also, don’t forget about a mighty fine ISU defense.


Let’s see how a drop in competition plays out.

Yes, SP did have a couple of superb throws to CJ and SLp but he is just a game manager right now.  Not having interceptions does not a QB make.

What I am surprised with is the high level of defense our team is playing that not everyone saw.
The other is the level of improvement Tory Taylor has shown.  What a weapon he has been the last couple of games.
Charlie Jones is doing what was expected of him by becoming a special team's weapon.

We cannot continue to be a Top-10 team if have average offense.
We have a couple of low-key opponents to get everything right before we go up against PSU.

BUT, I am happy we are 2-0!!
