Keith - I tend to think your eye is pretty trained on this issue.   No RB is going to be perfect but it seems to me that he dances when he should just put his head down and go and he puts his head down and goes when he has the time to wait and find the cut back lane.

I agree that he is a really good back.

I'm not one to judge by any means, but I still have opinions!  I disagree a little with the analysis of Goodson's running.  It seems to me that he does not always see the holes that develop.  Once he is going he goes, but a cutback here or turn there would allow him to hit holes.

Maybe it's my untrained eye.  I think he is a really good back and am glad to have him.  I just notice these things in my little mind.

Re: Goodson needs to burst through holes I actually think that the hesitation to see what lanes open up is some of his greatness.  On a number of the replays his hesitation lets a lane open up.  He’s big ten 1st team and his frosh backuo looked impressive.
This year is a theme:  tight games to raise our broad pressure to eak out a win or loss ( not Wisky).
Not sue we have a champion QB but have enough to get to 10-2.
