[Herky] Tyler Cook

I didn’t realized that Tyler Cook had gone down to the g league.  But now he has been called up by Brooklyn and stands to see a good bit of playoff action if he can keep his slot.  This is a good story of his progress.

Luka does not jump well so he almost always loses the tip.

Josh Ogundele came in late due to visa problems, overweight and out of shape, and had sickness and injury problems that delayed his progress. He is 13th among scholarship players. Fran on "Hawk Talk" just said Josh did not make the trip to Ohio State because he was "under the weather". Fran said Josh could play but implied Kris Murray would play first.

Geez thanks. 🤣🤣

I just saw the 20-minutes of highlight reel on YouTube. However, it showed more of offensive action and very limited defensive action. 

Just wondering what we did different from the previous game to this game to become effective defensively and come out with a win?  It is not easy to coach the players to get so much better in a couple of days. Maybe, I need to give a lot of credit to the coaches here. 

I have a theory that KG is not bothered by the size of the opposition big men as much as he is bothered by their heights (MI, IN and IL). He us able to out-work and out-hustle their weight but unable to beat them vertically as he does not elevate much at all. This is where Dickinson got the better of him at the rim. I guess he needs to play away from under the basket a little more as he had the range when playing against talker players. 

Just curious; has LG won the ball for us at the tipoff recently?  😀😀. He appears to be either out jumped or out-talled by the opponent centers. 

Glad we beat a top-5 team this late in the season and we may be gelling more as a team with a smaller rotation.  Hoping that the February swoon will now give rise to a March ascent. 

Surprised  though that Josh O. did not play even with Nunge out for the season. Really feel bad for JN’s injuries.
