[Herky] Lute Olsen Tribute

A friend who lives in Tucson sent me some editions of the Local paper that paid tributes to Lute.  It was amazing how many writers wrote nice, long articles about Lute and what he meant to not only the uNiversity of Arizona, but also every stop he made along his career route.  Iowa received a lot of positive press  What really impacted me was the large number of full page tributes from local business.  It was really touching.  

 

I crossed paths with Lute a number of times and had some nice social times with him when we talked of basketball but also a lot of other things.  

 

We were lucky to have him at Iowa for the years he was here.
