[Herky] NCAA Grants Extra Year to Spring Athletes, None For Winter

There will be no fair way to do this but I do like the idea that I have heard that if you have a red shirt year available you could use it for this year.  This seems reasonable to me. That would allow Spencer to pursue his four titles but Lugo loses out on his chance at a title.

Should Spencer Lee be denied an opportunity to be a four time champion? Should basketball players who have never participated in March madness be denied that opportunity? On the other hand, scholarships and distribution would be a major problem, as baseball is discovering. There are no easy or completely fair answers.

Well the winter sport athletes did play the entire season except for the tournaments.  Not sure I agree that they should get another year of eligibility
