[Herky] The Morning After: Thoughts from the Mississippi Gulf Coast

1.	I really liked the way Brett Gabbert threw the ball. He has a nice, accurate touch. This is in direct contrast to our QB, who seems to have such a strong arm that he has to hold back and just struggles with that.
2.	But Iowa could have picked Gabbert off several times. I chalk that up to his lack of experience and Iowa’s sub par play.
3.	The offense was entertaining—much more variety than in the past. Lots of different plays, especially for the first game, and lots of receivers and runners.
4.	We didn’t get to see much of the 4-2-5 defense with the cash position.
5.	Our defensive backfield is scary.
