If Iowa gets a 6, 7, or 8 seed in the Big Dance, the first team they face will be a lesser talent than Michigan, but it’s a crap shoot. If they get past that round, EVERY team they face will be as good or better than Michigan.

If Iowa can handle the Wolverines tonight, they will likely get a 5 seed, which would help. Big game tonight to give them a shot at a good seed in The Dance..  

After watching the UNC-Duke game last weekend, I’m convinced those two teams are the best in the nation. I doubt any Big Ten team could handle them.

But....it’s a crap shoot.

Assuming the Hawks get to the NC2A, and win the first round game, they will be playing a top four seeded team.  Probably one of the Michigan quality level.  To get to the Sweet Sixteen, they need to play outstanding ball, and we will see how close they are tonight.
