[Herky] Final Ohio State 90 Iowa 70

Last year Nunge was the best shot blocker on the team even in the limited minutes that he played.  They will never be a great shot blocking team but I think they will be better next year than they are now.

This is why I don't expect a dropoff if Tyler Cook goes pro after this year. We have Nunge, Pemsl, and Patrick McCaffery waiting in the wings. The problem will be getting all of them playing time. We don't have a shot blocker in the middle which means our defense is always going to be suspect.

I think we play better without Cook.  He doesn't have an outside shot and his defense is horrible (he is lazy and doesn't get off his feet).  Tonight he couldn't hold on to the ball, missed easy shots, and as usual didn't pass back out when defense collapsed.  Kriener is a much better defender and given more playing time, would be a better player.  Plus he can shoot from anywhere.  Also couldn't understand why Baer didn't get more playing time.  Best defender and real offensive threat.
