USC is not the USC of old. They are a good, not great, team, whose coach was almost fired. The only three ranked teams they played were Oregon, Utah, and Notre Dame and they lost two of those. Their defense is suspect, giving up at least 20 points to every opponent, sometimes much more. I expect a close competitive game. Iowa may not score a lot, but Phil Parker with a month to work will find a way to slow down the USC offense.
