[Herky] Game Notes: Iowa at Minnesota

I thought Stanley was better in the second half.  Running game did not improve.  Another guy or two with the injuries. I would say that the only one that looked serious was Hockaday.


That call on Jones for targeting was ridiculous.  I expect we will see a lot of nickel next week as the are going to be short at LB.  Two guys out with injury and Jones has to miss the 1st half of the game due to the targeting.

Lots of things that were not good in that half.  Stanley looked bad after the first possession.  No running game.  Injuries.  I guess that they are still up 28-17 is the good thing. But if they can't run and Stanley continues to be inaccurate or throw 100 mph passes to a guy 10 yards away this will be much closer than I was hoping. And if you let them stay in the game  you never know.
