[Herky] Test

I have to put this one on the coaches:

1.	Unprepared for Purdue’s type of game;
2.	Zero halftime adjustments for defense
3.	Let the same TRUE FROSH DB get burned for 3 touchdowns (sorry, but this on really baffles me)
4.	Poor clock management
5.	Again, Faint on Fant
6.	And for Stanley, why does he throw 90 MPH on 5-10 yard routes? Am I expecting too much to think he can control the speed of his throws based on distance (and don’t get me thinking about the overthrows).

We can win out, but I just don’t see us coming out in clutch situations. The Stanford band play at the end should never even have been considered. It was the perfect end to this game.

Sorry to be a bit of a Debbie Downer.

We are fully capable of winning out and finishing 9-3 and I think we will

I had to say it but this is a typical Iowa team - middle of the pack. They will keep it close and they will fight to the end but will lose the close game more often than not because they play not to lose instead of playing to win.

If that was there adjustment we are in big trouble. I expect that the next time Purdue gets the ball you will see the same thing again. The difference between a QB that puts the ball where it needs to be and Stanley.

I’m hoping we make some defensive adjustments at the half
