Kemerer took a MFF so what we all knew that he has not been 100% for awhile now. Too bad that the best two guys at this weight will probably be less than 100% at the NCAA's.

Another tough loss for Marinelli. Last second TD off a Marinelli shot results in another loss.

Results in first session today:

  * Cons. Semi - Spencer Lee (Iowa) 16-2 won by major decision over Sebastian Rivera (Northwestern) 25-5 (MD 12-0)

  * Cons. Semi - Nick Lee (Penn State) 25-5 won by decision over Vince Turk (Iowa) 12-8 (Dec 8-3)

  * Cons. Semi - Andrew Crone (Wisconsin) 26-10 won by injury default over Michael Kemerer (Iowa) 22-2 (Inj. 0:00)
  * 5th Place Match - Jason Nolf (Penn State) 21-3 and Michael Kemerer (Iowa) 22-2 (DFF)

  * Cons. Semi - Richie Lewis (Rutgers) 17-4 won by decision over Alex Marinelli (Iowa) 16-2 (Dec 7-5)

  * Cons. Semi - Johnny Sebastian (Northwestern) 26-9 won by decision over Joey Gunther (Iowa) 16-6 (Dec 3-2)

  * Cons. Semi - Kevin Beazley (Michigan) 16-8 won by decision over Cash Wilcke (Iowa) 18-6 (Dec 3-1)

  * Cons. Semi - Sam Stoll (Iowa) 19-3 won by fall over Conan Jennings (Northwestern) 24-10 (Fall 1:47)

Team Scores
1 Ohio State 145.5
2 Penn State 133.0
3 Michigan 108.0
4 Iowa 87.0
5 Nebraska 69.5

Cons
184 Bowman loses to Krone
197 Wilcke wins his match.

Semi
Stoll gets pinned by Coon in the first period.

Iowa done for the night. They did okay in consolations but pretty bad night for Iowa in what has been a disappointing tourney so far.

Turk gets another win in cons 5-4 over Red (Neb)

Sorensen with a solid win over Deakin to advance to the Finals 7-2

Kemerer gets pinned by Jordan (Ohio State). He was a head 1-0 at the time.

Very strong possibility that Iowa only gets one in the finals and no champion.

Lee goes down 2-1 to Tomacello. Gives up a TD with 20 seconds left in teh 3rd period.

Both guys has a couple of good shots but Lee was unable to finish any of his.

184 Bowman with a very good win over Gravina (Rutgers) in SV1. He has now qualified for the NCAA's.
197 Wilcke beats Whisler (Maryland) 6-3

That wraps up Iowa's matches in this consolation round and it was a good one as they win all their matches.

Semi-finals coming up now.

That above status is from someone else so not positive it is correct.
Turk beats Profaci 3-1 and qualifies for NCAA's if above info is correct.

Iowa's Semi’s matchups:
Lee vs Tomasello (Ohio State)
Sorensen vs Deakin (Northwestern
Kemerer vs Jordan (Ohio State)
Stoll vs Coon (MI)
