Cook was in foul trouble all night, accounting for his docile play and lack of intensity.

 

No one else is in any way a threat in the paint, usually because they are beaten so badly they cannot catch up.

 

Nunge was totally outclassed.  

 

They will all get better.  But we still do not have a big man force in the middle to control that part of the court.

Folks say Cook is a very physical player, but he was man-handled tonight as Iowa goes down 91-73.

I haven’t checked, but I believe  Iowa has given up 90+ points in 3 of their 5 conference games. They allowed an incredible 56 points in the paint tonight. I think we may be looking at a 5-13 Big Ten record in the making. And no games to play after the conference tourney.
