According to the report our beat writer filed for this morning's paper, Allen is expected to miss a practice or two but should play Saturday. Described as just a sore shoulder. According to Allen, he fell on it wrong and one of the Hawkeyes landed on it.

I read that Allen the WY QB hurt his non-throwing shoulder in the Iowa game.  Anyone have any more info on this? When did it happen? I wonder how much it affected him.  While Iowa did not have a lot of sacks it seemed like the DL was getting pressure and he
 was taking some hits which usually has an impact later in the game. He certainly was not as good in the second half as he was in the first. 





Pressure will be really important in the Iowa State game. If you give Park time with the receivers they have Iowa will be in trouble.
