Did you see how many times Stanley was hurried yesterday?  It’s a miracle that he wasn’t sacked at least six times or more.

 

And on one play with Butler going to the short side, a Minny DL pushed our OL into Butler before he could even get a good start.

 

Our OL is very, very dismal.  I think this coming Saturday has the makings of an unmitigated disaster.

I agree that Stanley is very good.  He’s strong in the pocket and has a great arm. He’s smart and gritty.  He’ll get better.  With a decent OL, he could be one of the best QBs in the B1G.

 

Having said that, the team currently has some major weaknesses.

The offense is struggling but honestly I see a lot of positives or maybe I should say potential. Stanley looks very good. He makes good decisions and his touch is improving. Receivers dropped a lot of catchable balls. First cold game that will happen. I think the future is very bright, maybe not so much this year. Let's see if we can't pull off an upset or two!
