 On Tuesday, Iowa extended a football scholarship to Matthew Baldwin from Lake Travis Highschool in Austin Texas.

Lake Travis senior Matthew Baldwin continued a Cavalier tradition committed to play quarterback at Colorado State University on July 14.  It should be noted that Baldwin had never started a game prior to this offer and commitment.
Iowa (  on Tuesday ) and Ohio State have also now extended offers to Baldwin. 

  Baldwin becomes the eighth consecutive Lake Travis quarterback to pledge to a FBS college. The streak began in 2006, when Todd Reesing signed with Kansas and continued with Garrett Gilbert (Texas), Michael Brewer (Texas Tech), Colin Lagasse (SMU), Baker Mayfield (Texas Tech; preferred walk-on), Dominic DeLira (Iowa State) and Charlie Brewer (Baylor).
  The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Baldwin is ranked as a three-star prospect by Rivals and 247Sports. He’s listed as the 35th pro-style quarterback in the 2018 recruiting class by 247Sports.
