Boy were the Hawkeyes out of synch yesterday.  It was miserable watching it on TV and I can only imagine watching it in person surrounded by Badgers.  The offensive line got manhandled by Wisky.
If misery loves company,  Hoosier basketball fans are right there as Indiana State beat Indiana in Bloomington in their home opener 90-69.  The Sycamores were up over 20 at half and the crowd booed the Hoosiers as they walked off the court.  ISU got up 30 several times in the second half.  Indiana lacks scoring punch and their defense was really bad.  Not a good start for the post-Cren era in Bloomington.  Oh, and Indiana paid Indiana State $90,000 to come to Bloomington.
AND Notre Dame's bubble got busted by Miami.  I've thought all year that they were a bit overrated. 
My kid brother Gregg graduated from Madison but was gentle in his phone call to me from Colorado.
