It won't matter against Chicago State if Conner does not play. With Baer out too, the playing rotation would be a more manageable 11 players. Remember Moss was held out of the 2 exhibition games as a precaution. If he is not fully ready to go, that would leave only 3 healthy guards: Bohannon, Ellingson, and Dailey.Uhl could play there if necessary. 
This is why you need 13 players.
