Yes, and after winning the conference championship last year. Injuries this year really hurt Indiana, but that is no excuse for a fan base that expects national championships. Indiana basketball is like Nebraska football in unrealistic fan expectations.

I think Steve Alford to Indiana is very unlikely. His Iowa record on and off court (Pierre Pierce) soured too many Indianna fans on him.
