This makes sense. Iowa-TCU should be a higher rated game with two Power 5 conference teams, so ESPN would prefer it on ESPN2. The earlier start time will allow people to travel some distance and still get home at a reasonable hour, so may help attendance.

IOWA-TCU GAME TIME CHANGE 



IOWA CITY, Iowa -- ESPN, in conjunction with the NCAA, announced today game time changes for two NIT Second Round games being played on Sunday, March 20. 



The TCU at Iowa contest is being moved to 4 p.m. (CT) and will be televised nationally on ESPN2, while the Oakland at Richmond contest will be moved to 6:30 p.m. (CT) and will air on ESPNU. 



Tickets can be purchased for $20 for adults, and $5 for youth/UI students. Tickets are available during normal business hours at the Athletic Ticket Office inside the Dale & Marilyn Howard Family Pavilion on the north side of Carver-Hawkeye Arena, over the phone at 1-800-IA-HAWKS, or online at hawkeyesports.com/tickets. The ticket office windows are open daily from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m. 



The Hawkeyes won their first round game, 87-75, on Wednesday over the Summit League regular season champion South Dakota Coyotes in Iowa City. The Horned Frogs beat Fresno State, 66-59, in third first round contest in Fort Worth, Texas, on Wednesday.
