It looks pretty good for Iowa to get a trophy (top four get trophies). Missouri has 3 in the finals but they are huge underdogs in two so they probably only get one 1st which hopefully Iowa can match.

Gilman wins and finishes 3rd. According to the announcers much of the crowd gave him a standing ovation.

Clark wins his match and is the only Iowa guy in the finals. If not for that I would say this round was a total disaster. Gilman loses his first match of the year. Sorensen and Brooks get stuck in the first minute of their matches against PSU opponents. Meyer and Wilcke lose their match and are eliminated. Kemerer wins two matches and stays alive in this battle to try and take 3rd. It is really ridiculous how much better PSU is than Iowa. They win all five of their semi-final matches. Not sure what the team score record is but PSU might come close. If they had Suriano I think they would beat it. And PSU will be better next year.

Good second round for Iowa. Meyer knocks off the 6th seed. The only loss in the championship side was Wilcke at 197 which was expected. Carton and Gunther both win their first consolations matches.
