[Herky] HOLY COW!

[Dennis v]

Ellingson, Uhl, and Moss have been under-performing somewhat on the offensive end over the past several games.  But they all work very hard on D.  Would be great to see them step up their offensive games over the next few weeks, just to further wear down those teams that limit playing time to 7 or 8 players.

Agree.  The roster that doesn’t drop off much with the many substitutes.  Keeps kids fresh throughout the game.  I believe the many comebacks is due in large part to wearing down the 7 and 8 man active rosters.  

 

The defense is now a huge improvement over last year with their obvious tired legs.

 

Hope these key guys stick around.  Looking forward to next year with a couple of bigs to help out.

Me too.  Hostile building, Iowa had 19 turnovers and only 11 assists, missed a bunch of two-foot shots, and got to the FT line only 7 times. It seemed Wisconsin got most of the loose balls.  Koenig got a good look at the end.  But Iowa dominated the boards and Wisconsin missed some wide open threes and a few bunnies.  They also missed a bunch of FTs.  Overall, I think Iowa’s defense won this game.  If Iowa does get to The Dance, they will have to keep up the defensive intensity.  The frosh have made great strides in playing D.

 

Helps to have a cold-blooded Bohannon getting a great look in the last 9 seconds.

Gritty Hawkeyes.  Beat Penn St. and win a couple in the BTT and a bid to The 
Dance would be well-deserved.  Lunardi was even talking about that 
possibility tonight.

Something is definitely wrong with Jok.  He short arms his shots, kind of 
floats with his shot, not looking good.

That was an ugly game, but the Hawks did some pretty work the last 2 
minutes.

What a win!
Gotta love the don't quit attitude of this team.
A recurring theme- Jok isn't right & at best is a decoy.
It seems that everyone contributes & crunch time means nobody shrinks from 
the moment.
Quite a change from Fran's earlier teams.
Loving it!!!!
