lower back cramps.  I think he took a nasty spill on the tailbone in the loss to Northwestern.  Has been hurting ever since.  Sure glad they don’t have a game until Wednesday

I give them credit for coming back after such a slow start.  With a healthy Jok, they would have won the game.  The frosh are gaining valuable experience but sometimes it's tough to watch the game unfold.

 

Fran needs to get a little "chill out"!  He's got to have gotten a negative reputation in the ref community which doesn't help the team.  If he's that volatile during practice, it's not surprising that his teams tend to 'wear out' late in the season.

The first half showed examples of what a good defense can do to a stinko offense, and what a good offense can do to a stinko defense.

 

The second half showed what can be done when play is intense, organized and under control.

 

The game showed that this team may be starting the season end Hawkeye funk a little early.
