I find your post to be very interesting because I livejust 3 plus miles away from Irondale.  Sorry to sayI don't follow HS sports so I never heard of yourgrand-nephew.  I will, however, check for his namein the future in the local suburban newspaper. He sounds like a kid that definitely has his headscrewed on straight and not just another jock. Don Elias

My great-nephew, Brendan White, is getting some attention from D-2 schools and a few D-1s.  He’s a lanky QB with a strong and accurate arm.  He needs to put on muscle weight, but he’s wiry. I was at his recent birthday party in Minnesota, and he told me he’s working hard to eat a lot of food to put on weight and is getting more workouts in the weight room.  He is a decent runner, but he’s a pro-style QB and runs well on roll-outs, getting a lot of zip on this throws on the run (left and right). He has the intangibles – solid citizen, smarts with a high GPA, poise, cool head, and quiet confidence.  He has no rating yet, so I’ll think he’ll probably go to a D-2 school to get playing time. The Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois (WIMI) Prep Football Report has him ranked #3 overall for QBs. He’s also the punter on his HS team.   Dennis v.
